Geordi, my blind cat, reacts very similarly to Jiji. Especially with bubble wrap. “Ooo… What is this witchcraft?! OMIGERD CAN I PLAY WITH IT?!”
Data, his one eyed brother, on the other hand… Totes Peter. Will jump and flinch with every pop. Granted, this is the cat that will growl and hiss when a stiff wind hits the house, so I’m not really surprised by his reaction.
I just HAVE to say this: You are the best at portraying cat expressions and emotions in THE WHOLE WORLD of webcomics. By which I mean real cats, not ones in comics that talk and have human-like emotions. Those are fun too, but yours are both very real-seeming (even if perhaps exaggerated slightly for humor) and ADORABLE. :3
