Me and my buddy would do that all the time at work to other people. We would point and look like we were talking about something off in the distance.
Also the occasional “Look! It’s a distraction!” with a vigorous pointing motion is great.
I go to zoos a lot and sometimes it’s entertaining to just stop and stare intently at nothing for a while and see how long it takes for a crowd to gather around you trying to see whatever animal you are watching.
A book AND a wedding?! You aren’t doing yourselves any favors, stress-wise! Don’t let it get to you and can’t wait to finally meet you guys in October!

I do this sometimes when I have seizures–things move and sound… Very different is the best way I can describe it.
Or when trying to mess with my friends a bit.
Or when they’re messing with me. Example, “… Yes, Paz, the light is actually flickering.” XD
