The USB-Interface is another fine example of quatum mechanics! The interface itself got 2 states which both of them exist at the same time. Only by observation one state becomes the real one.

That may be because you appear to be plugging that into a memory card port
I plug it in and put a dot of nail polish on the top, and forever more I have no problem plugging it in.
