My girlfriend and I had an awesome experience with this at Origins. “Oh, you two have the same address! Are you sisters?” “No, we’re partners.” “Oh. …business partners?” “No.” We spent the rest of the day coming up with other answers: law partners, tennis partners, investment partners….
I had this happen to my girlfriend and I recently… only it was at a restaurant, we were on a date, and without asking us the waitress decided to split our bill… Like we’ve been their before with her family and they’ve always asked “is this all together or separate?”
How about if their is a ten or more year age difference? Then they say how wonderful it is you going out with your daughter! This happened in my last relationship and in my present one, just now I’m “mom” and not “offspring”
