Did…. did this really happen?
Me too k, me too
This is the real reason your parents told you not to play with your food …
Come over to the vegan side! We have cookies 🙂 !
The Columbus Vegan Meetup Group is pretty active. Look us up sometime, we’re always happy to talk to the vegi-curious.
You, uh… You do know that eggs are basically chicken ovulation, right? Unless there was an accident, they aren’t impregnated.
Oh yeah, there was no illusion of there being any chick-based consciousness. This comic could’ve played out the same with a piece of broccoli (and has before).
Hah, me too. I’ve also eaten the decorative parsley sprigs on a plate when dining out because I felt guilty about all the effort the parsley plant put into making those perfect little crenelated leaves only to have it all come to naught, uneaten, unregarded, a mere accessory. So I eat the parsley to appreciate its effort and give its life purpose.
Hahahaha!!! I get you!!! I feal pitty for that piece of carrot that falls down to the floor and doesn’t make it to the soup!!! It feels like letting someone left behind!!! Lol!!! =D
I’m just as bad, but I take it a step further: I drill out and empty the pretty eggshells, clean them, then keep them in a decorative jar by the kitchen sink. It’s a pretty big jar…
Yep, I’ve got the same problem.
If you got those at the grocery store, those are usually unfertilized eggs. Meaning it really doesn’t have its whole life ahead of it so no guilt in eating it!
I’m the kind of person who sees this egg and cackles malevolently. “Yes, you are going to die. Goodbye.”
