Confession: Showers
One of my biggest secrets: I hate being damp. It’s just horrible.
And yes! That is a new tattoo (to appear in the comic) — K and I have had matching wedding bands on our forearms for some time now, based on old criminal-marker tattoos, to represent all of the time we spent illegally married.

I don’t hate them, i kinda like them, but i’m way too lazy to dry myself up and then get dressed..
You need a standalone shower! I hated them too until I got out of the bath and didn’t have a giant plastic ghost trying to hug me!
I am SO with you, most of the way — I *loathe* showers, and react like an angry cat when I get caught in the rain. Being damp SUCKS.
OTOH, I actually like swimming and baths — being submerged doesn’t set off the dampness trigger, thankfully for my overall cleanliness!
Haha, I’m actually cool with the showering itself, it’s the getting out of the shower wet into the always colder bathroom and toweling yourself down frantically afterwards I’m not a fan of ^__^
Sometimes I sit in the floor of the shower and just curl up with my eyes closed and the whole world gets washed away in the sound of the water. I rather enjoy water in general, though.
Also I’m lookin at your wedding funding thing and just hoping I’m not too dirt poor to attend when the time comes!
I don’t like the “normal” shower heads either.
I prefer a less spread and stronger stream which my shower head can do. Cannot find an exact pic of what I mean, but these two come quite close:

Aaand additionally I use magnet to keep the curtain from getting close.
Simply two small magnets on both sides of the curtain, and add self-adhesive felt on the outer side so it doesn’t scratch the shower-tub (in my case: bathtub).
This is so me! I get the heeby jeebies when the shower curtain touches me. Give me the great outdoors and a pool, lake, or waterhose!
Why are those ***king curtains always leaning toward then inside when there’s hot water running anyway. I bet there’s a scientific explanation for that or something.
It’s based on Bernoulli’s principle. When you have a higher velocity air current (as well as higher temperature) in a specific area, the pressure goes down. When one side of a barrier has lower pressure than the other the barrier moves to the lower pressure side. You can demonstrate this with a really cool little experiment. Take two pieces of regular paper. Hold them from the top so that they’re hanging parallel to eachother (so that their surfaces are ~ 2 inches apart from eachother). It should look like this | | if you’re looking at the super thin edges of them.
Now make sure you’re holding from the top and their just hanging from your fingers. Sometimes I wish there was a machine that can you press a buttom and like a scan it automaticaly cleans you.
Ha! I can at least relate to hating it when the shower curtain keeps touching me – that shit drives me insane! I’m so glad my current place has glass doors instead.
I hate showers but I work in fast food so I hate my job more. It’s gotten to the point where I’ll take a shower in the morning just to make myself late to work. I realize I’m spiraling but it’s still kind of funny XD
I hate showering. I also hate the feeling of towels on my skin. Seriously cannot stand terry cloth.
Its so interesting to read comics about another person(s) life. It definitely itly gives you a view of there world which is something all of us could use these day, that Humanity’s biggest problem. We can’t see what other people see.
