It never fails…
Its even worse with headphones on. @.@ I’ve blown out a pair of surround sound headphones because of max volume. Thankfully they weren’t on my head…
I don’t quite get this
I think K leave volume at max before, but not sure.
The ding is based on computer volume, not player volume.
XD Makes me glad Ted and I have our own computers.
Holy crap, that used to happen in our house, but with a TV and me turning the sound up during quiet movies then my dad watching some really loud movie and blowing out our eardrums
Its moments like this that its good to have your own computer….oh the ding of doom…how it has made my ears bleed so…
Wait… so she just lowered the volume, is this the reverse world?…
K turned the volume down on the web players, but left the system volume to set max
OK, so I’m not the only one who saw it that way.
This is exactly what I see. So confused.
Yeah, I get the concept (K turns the volume up, A doesn’t realize it’s turned up so high, the system does a “hey look” beepy noise, except thanks to K it’s now super loud).
I just don’t quite understand what’s going on in the 3 tiny-panels.
Hm. Turning the volume down in a program, but leaving the system’s volume at max? Ok, that makes more sense now. It just doesn’t make immediate sense to me, and still seems kind of confusingly laid out. (I’m sorry if this sounds mean! I’m just…doing constructive feedback? ^///^’)
This is a joke about people using the player-softwares volume settings instead of the global system settings. This practice sucks if your system uses notification sounds (or you open a different player with full volume).
I am constantly doing this to myself. I’ll plug headphones in and forget to turn the volume down before continuing with what I was watching!
All volumes are at max in my place ^^
My girlfriend does this and it infuriates me. Luckily since we moved together she has her own computer and has no reason to use mine.
For everyone who doesn’t get it:
She turns the volume down on the web players, leaving system volume at maximum, so the “DING”, which is a system sound, plays at maximum volume later.
This is the reason why I always leave the volume in all programs at maximum and adjust only the main volume.
Dem babs o-0
i am laughing way….WAY too hard at this…. XD
NO BUT LIKE, DON’T FORGET THE THX IN MOVIES.
That would blow your ears out.
I just NOW noticed theres only three fingers in their comics??
