Have you ever slept with someone through a heat wave? It’s about the only part of your bodies that you can even stand to have touching.
no, I didn’t [whiny something here if you wish, or whatever], but I know how it is when you’re being touched by someone in a heat wave. it just makes me smile, it’s like “we don’t want to let go of ourselves, but it’s hot like hell, so that’s the most we can do!”
That was the most romantic one, to me: even if it is sweltering, they’re still just touching pinkies and toes.

Found this through the Laughing Squid, read it all in 2 hours total, including when I read up until Feminine Wiles and realised you weren’t a guy, then re-read the previous comics to compare the perspectives that I saw. (stupid gender-based behavioural stereotypes and their intrinsic implications)

Before the explanation comic, I will admit I thought the author was just a rather androgynous man. And now I realize the author is simply a rather androgynous woman, biologically speaking. Doesn’t stop the comic being quite good.

Didja know you’re making the rounds on Imgur? Fortunately, whoever posted it included a link to your site. A number of people have posted the link to part 1, too. Hope it results in lots of good new traffic! The usual people confused about the genders involved, but that seems to be sorting out too. It’s a great comic, so people are enjoying it irrespective of any gender issues, seems like, which is cool 🙂

PPS: you should sell a pillow with part 1 and part 2 on each side – i’d buy it! 🙂 You could do it cheaply by going to spoonflower,com, & uploading the graphics to make the fabric, and let people buy the fabric (which pays you from the site,, as the creator) and let people sew it up into a pillow (or shirt, or book bag, or whatever) themselves… no further effort on your part. Unless you want to get the fabric and sew it up yourselves, and sell on something like etsy. or there’s always cafepress – but i think the profit is better on spoonflower – i think you can set the price at what you want. You just have to make the graphic big enough to be good resolution for a fair-sized pillow (or whatever) and then set the fabric by-yard price at what you think is fair for a pillow or bag people will sew for themselves. The site takes a cut, but you get the profit without further effort. 🙂

Hey, my little sister’s never had an easy time with the public on the subject of sexuality. We both live in a very judgemental part of America and when I found a link to this comic on Reddit I immediately showed it to her. She was contemplating on changing who she was to excape the constant mocking from the community and even from her and my parents (being a minor, she still lives with them) and after moving out, I could no longer protect her in school or at home. But when she saw these comics she saw that she could still be happy one day. Thank you for these comics you helped her more than I, even as her big brother, ever could. You have no idea how much confidence these comics gave given her.

Hey, cool – i see the pillow idea has been enacted! I just have one question – the society6 site does not sshow multiple views, so it’s hard to confirm if “PART 1″ is on the other side. If it is, i’m ready to get the 18” one. I’m hopeful, as the description text says “…features a double-sided print and is finished with a concealed zipper for ease of care…” but I was wondering if you could confirm that “double-sided print” means that part one (not another copy of part two, for example) is on the other side?
I also think it would make a cool tote (for overnights, maybe?) with both parts on each side 🙂 I see society 6 does have some totes for you, too…
This item currently only features the Part 2 of the Kama Sutra for Sleeping, I’m afraid! We would love to make one that had both, but that’s currently outside Society6’s design options. We are exploring some other ways to create a pillowcase that features both comics, so we’ll keep everyone posted on that. Thanks for asking! And yes, we could totally make it a tote, we’ll get right on it!
Ignore me if you already have it in hand, but here’s my suggestions: A) try cafepress – i looked up the pillows – they all seem to be one-sided designs too – although the nice, large canvass tote is on sale practically half-price – $10 – so you could make a fair profit setting your price at, like – $15 or so?. Better yet, go to spoonflower.com and upload the graphics at a size so you get both sides once per yard. You could even put some other fun stuff around the edges. People could buy the fabric, and sew it up as either a pillow or tote bag – their choice. Set the price to get the profit you want – may well be bigger profit than what you get for the finished pillow at society 6. Example: http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/846231. You could set that up to make quite a nice two sided pillow AND throw in some little graphics of your characters around the edges for people to sew it little dolls! (voo doo? computer fetishes? xmas tree ornaments? YOU decide! LOL). Anyway, i’ll stop buggin’ however you want to do it, just let us know. I DO want a double-sided one, so just let us know if you can work it out! 🙂 PS: as you moderate these comments, if you’d just like to treat this as an email and not publish this continuing discussion, that’s fine with me. to clarify, the nice cafepress canvass totes are double-sided – you can put a different design on each side.
Aweeeeeeee! Love the pillow of heaven. Use to do that with my ex a lot. I currently sleep in the cliffhanger position most nights because of an over abundance of cats, (but I love them.) Awesome work as always.
My boyfriend is 15 inches taller than I am. I recognize a lot of these, but I must add The Baby Koala (when I spoon from behind and feel like a backpack) and The Telephone Service Guy (when he lays flat and I feel like I’m climbing a telephone pole).
Is it bad that I kinda want to see those on playing cards?
