Meet The Cats Nix 3
Holy crap, it’s a new Meet the Cats (and for the niche Haku fans, don’t worry, we’ll have a Meet the Snake soon enough)! Nix was an adult feral cat when he was taken in by the shelter, so it took us quite a long time to get to know him completely. As mentioned, he has a moderate case of cerebellar hypoplasia that makes him constantly dizzy and prone to tremors when he’s excited. Nix is also incredibly sweet and tough as nails, so there isn’t much he can’t do if he’s determined. In just a few months, he has become an inseparable part of our family and we hope you’ll love meeting him, too.
(Side note: In the future, we hope to raise awareness about CH cats through our comics, so stay tuned for the occasional special needs strips!)
Now for the phooooootooooooosss!!!!!
We survive completely on your support! If you have a little spare change, you can keep us and our comics going lots of ways:
- Patreon – Support us per strip (you can cap at any amount per-month, even as little as $1) and gain access to bonus material, private blogs, and sneak peeks!
- Ko-Fi – Buy us a cuppa! Or anything else we could use in increments of $3, which is probably cat toys.
- PayPal.me – Donate any one-time amount! No muss, no fuss.
- Etsy – Check in on our store to find original comic linework, paintings, digital books, and whatever strange crafts struck our fancy!
Need to find us on social media? Look up “FindChaos” pretty much wherever.
HE IS SO FLUFFY! I love fluffy cats so much, easily my favorite kind. Glad he found an awesome home. It sucks when animals are put down just because of special needs. I mean, pets already have special needs to begin with! They are fur babies!
Thought you died! Glad to see you are back!
I am so glad that you’re back I have seriously missed these.
And Nix is so cute <3
Sha, Nix! He’s precious! XD Also, I have a different condition with a similar outcome. Seeing cats with CH raises my spirits so much.
HI NIX! I’m so happy your family is finally starting to heal. We the fans will always miss Peter, but it’s nothing compared to the pain you guys felt. I wish you all many happy days of playtime! <3
I am so glad Nix found you guys. In Central New York, they have the Cat Coalition. people foster cats and I am happy to be a part of it. currently, I have 13 four-legged little people living with me, none currently are special needs.
I am sorry to see Peter go, but I am also glad you and the furry children are able to heal.
I’m glad everyone is doing better! I’m so sorry about Peter, and Nix seems like a fantastic fit for you two! <3
I’m so glad to see you are back around 😀 I hope Nix has a wonderful life with you guys
Awwww. He looks like a sweetie. (^._.^)
I am so happy you guys are back, and I hate to point it out, but I think you meant “Nix is the happiest cat we’ve ever known” rather than “know.”
Yaaaay! Comic updates! So happy to see your new fur-baby, we will all miss Peter, glad you were able to open your home to another kitty in need. Truly you are doing Bast’s work.
So sad to hear your Petey boy is gone. But I’m glad you were able to give another special kitty a home! <3
I am so glad you’re raising awareness about special needs animals. One of my dogs has CH, and it doesn’t bother him at all.
Nix is adorable! He’s a very lucky little guy to find such a great home.
He is adorable. That second drawing of him up here makes me think of Cheshire cat 🙂 And I think it’s really cool you’re giving a special-need kitty a chance.
such a cute floofy baby! Hi Nix!
So pretty.
I haven’t caught up with your lives in a year, but I want to thank you both. I read your comics religiously back when I thought I was straight. Not to say straight people can’t enjoy your comics, but I loved S&K’s relationship so much and wanted to find someone like either of you some day.
Now I’m a semi-out lesbian many years later. Thank you, ChaosLife!
So glad to see you guys around again! Lots of love.
yeah, like your Nix (means Nothing in my language 🙂 )
and I’m very glad your back, I missed you very much
I recently lost my fur baby to kidney disease 🙁 it hurts, but new happy memories with other fur babies help to numb the pain. RIP, Peter and Critter
I LOVE my Chantilly kitty!!! She is the sweetest – we call her the Catdog, because she is secretly a dog personality trapped in a kitty body. Everyone she meets falls in love with her. I’m glad you adopted Nix, and I’m glad to see you posting again – missed you two and your lovely fur family!
im sorry to hear about peter but im glad you found nix i hope he improves your lives even more
One of our CH cats, Crash, has the title Mrow Officer because he makes everyone laugh so much Glad Nix found such a wonderful family!
Play well at the rainbow bridge Peter. Welcome Nix to the madness you all live in xD
You mentioned a squeak. Got any videos of it? Squeaky cats are cuuuuute.
Hi! Long-time reader, first-time poster–I’m a vet, currently fostering a sweet kitten that I am 99% positive has CH. I’m a fairly recent graduate, and it was strongly imprinted on us that CH isn’t a death sentence. Just wanted you to know that it seems the vet community is getting the idea about positive outcomes for CH shmittens, and comics like this are absolutely heart-warming to see. 😀
I’ve had a CH kitty for the past ten years, so I think it’s amazing that you’re trying to raise awareness! (P.S.I will totally contribute experience/art to that project!)
SO MUCH FLOOF
